RHYTHM
The inspiration for this rug was the Wiener Werkstatte and the simplicity of their work and how they broke the rigidity of straight lines with soft curves to create movement and rhythm.

PROCESS
Fabrication: HAND-TUFTED RUG, 100% worsted wool
Some colors are to be tufted in a directional loop, while the rest of the rug is to be cut and slightly raised so that the shadows create more visual interest. To accentuate the geometry, the rug will be carved.
