COLONIAL JUNGLE
The Spanish-founded city of Iquitos in Amazonian Peru inspired this collection. Inaccessible by road, this city remains frozen in time. Spanish 19th-century architecture is submerged in a river of bromeliads, monsteras, and centuries-old vines that provide homes for monkeys, leopards, and anacondas. This was the perfect backdrop for a textile design meant to evoke another world within the walls of the home.
